Augustus Frederick Sherman: Ellis Island Portraits, 1905-1920Presented by Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County at Hjemkomst Center June 4-September 12, 2010 A traveling exhibit courtesy of Aperture Foundation and Statue of Liberty National Monument/Ellis Island Immigration Museum. Sherman was an immigration agent who captured images of new immigrants entering the United States for the first time through Ellis Island. Keller WilliamsPresented by Jade Presents at Fargo Theatre September 23, 2010 Nearly a year after playing the Fargo Theatre, one-man jam band Keller Williams returns to the same stage.
The guitarist, who blends diverse styles like rock, bluegrass and reggae, is noted for looping his riffs over each other, allowing for a fuller sound.
The guitarist’s most recent disc, “Thief,” released in May, features bluegrass versions of rock songs by Amy Winehouse, Marcy Playground, The Raconteurs and others.
