Sandi Dahl is a pastel painter whose primary focus is exploring landscape. Dahl, a 40-year resident of Fargo, grew up on a farm near Devils Lake with many artists in her family. Dahl is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and her work can be found in numerous collections including the permanent collection of Plains Art Museum. Her paintings give a sense of place in a moment of time, using color for bold expressions of mood and emotion.
