Written, produced, designed and directed by NDSU theatre students, When the Bird Takes Flight is a disturbing look at how young people forge a new existence when “the system” has left them only smuggled goods, contraband and death. Presented by the Newfangled Theatre Company, an organization of NDSU students that will present two fully staged productions during the academic year.
