A multimedia tribute to the spirit of exploration featuring music and readings written by and about great explorers. National Public Radio's Neal Conan and actress Lily Knight narrate excerpts from the journals of great explorers such as Jacques Costeau, George Mallory and Charles Darwin, along with works by writers such as Jim Harrison. The readings and the musical selections by Ensemble Galilei will be illustrated with artwork and images from the National Geographic Image Collection.
