Find your creative energy and build your confidence as you learn to paint with this water-based medium. This introductory course in acrylic painting will teach you how to use brushes, mix colors, and use different mediums. You'll also learn different techniques used by painters as you complete a series of small paintings. Carrie Savageau is a local artist and art educator. All levels of experience are welcome, and the class will include some individualized instruction. Resources, materials, and supplies will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring photos, pictures, and favorite paintbrushes to class. Come ready to relax, meet new people, and have fun while you paint! Course Code: AAM37A
