    Have you always wanted to play drums or other percussion instruments? This is a great class to improve musicianship on any instrument by learning rhythms. Students will learn rudimentary percussion patterns, proper grip and drumming technique, percussion notation, and percussion terminology. Students will also be taught good practice habits, listening skills, how to use a metronome for practicing, and the concept of ensemble awareness. Both concert and marching performance standards will be introduced. No experience required. Instructor: Wesley Ford Course code: YCL28A
