Elizabeth will read a selection of translated work (including some of Marco's) and Marco will read his own work in Italian. Marco Candida is from Tortona, Italy, and has published three novels and a story collection with such prestigious presses as Sironi Editore. He is also a featured writer at UND's 2009 Writers Conference. Elizabeth Harris is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at UND. Some of her recent translations, stories by Giulio Mozzi, appear or are forthcoming in The Literary Review, The Missouri Review, and The Kenyon Review.
