Experience the excitement of making decorative and functional clay pottery on a potter's wheel. You'll be inspired as you learn techniques to decorate, fire and glaze your creations. You'll enjoy the surroundings in the renovated downtown campus of North Dakota State University (formerly home to Northern School Supply). Take home several handmade pieces of pottery to enjoy or give as gifts. All levels of experience are welcome. Rene Fuglestad took his first pottery class and fell in love with the medium at MSUM in 1969. He has been teaching classes at all levels ever since. Fee includes clay and the use of the pottery studio. Before class, please purchase a $12 pottery tool kit from the MSUM bookstore or Michaels Arts & Crafts.
