When the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, they must raise money fast for the burials. Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer, and her crazy flock of nuns, decide to put on a variety show in the school gym.
