    Gallery in the Granary opens this summer’s season with the second annual exhibition, The Beauty of Rollag. Opening reception, held outdoors, meet the artist, will be Saturday, June 5, 7to 9pm with Light Hors d'œuvre and music by Russell Pesola and brass quintet. Located in an old granary remodeled into a rural gallery, a group of artists who live in the area, come to the area to do their creating or whose ancestors lived and farmed the land and are influenced by this beautiful, quiet and peaceful area of Clay County will be featured. This year’s artists include: Crystal Aakre, graphic designer/mixed media /web designer- Deborah Mae Broad, printmaker- Mackenzie Kouba, painter/sculptor, Roberts Street Studio- Duane Mickelson, sculptor/educator- Dwight Mickelson, sculptor, Mickelson Metal Studio- Phillip Mousseau, photographer /designer /educator- Kay Ornberg, painter/photographer/clothing designer - Denise Pesola, watercolorist/Band Director Horizon Middle School -Marcel Stratton, potter/painter/FLAG DESIGNER-James Wolberg, ceramicist/sculptor, Robert Street Studio The Gallery in the Granary will be open most weekends from May 29 until September 5.
