Mr. Uchiyama has been commissioned by the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society to guide the development of the Mind and Soul Japanese Garden at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden in Fargo. In addition to being the curator of the Japanese garden in Portland, OR, which is the premier Japanese garden in the United States, Mr. Uchiyama is overseeing the revitalization of the Japanese Garden at the Denver Botanical Gardens.
