Book reading with Marc de Celle, author of the highly popular new book How Fargo of You

The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County will hold a book reading and signing with Marc de Celle, author of the new book How Fargo of You: Stories From the Northern Prairie that People Who Haven’t Been Here Will Never Believe, on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 7:30 p.m. in the Hjemkomst Ship Gallery at the Hjemkomst Center.

De Celle, a native of Arizona, moved to Fargo in 2005 after a visit in the summer of 2001. “We learned enough about Fargo during our first visit that as soon as the opportunity was there for us to move here, we did,” de Celle said. “But we still had no idea how deep what I’ve come to call ‘Northern Prairie Culture’ went.” He says the past five years have been an amazing learning experience.
