    Moorhead, Minn., – The 2009 Concordia College Christmas Concert “Journey to Bethlehem” will be broadcast on public television stations nationally this holiday season.

    In your area the program will be aired the following times:



    Prairie Public Television

    12/20 8 p.m., 12/21 2 & 8 a.m. & 2 p.m., 12/24 6 p.m., 12/25 noon



    During this hour-long event, more than 450 student musicians in five choirs and a full orchestra take the audience on a “Journey to Bethlehem.” The concert is set in front of a panoramic mural that depicts the journeys of Mary and Joseph, the wise men and the star, as the Christmas story moves toward the manger and Christ’s birth. Selections from the concert include many familiar favorites including “Do You Hear What I Hear” and “O Holy Night,” as well as songs that may be new to viewers including “Betelehemu” sung in Nigerian and “There is no Rose of Such Virtue.”
