Quilt National ’09 is an international juried exhibition of innovative contemporary art quilts. Quilt National ’09 consists of 87 innovative works, 30 of which will be on display at the Hjemkomst Center, made by artists from 25 states and 13 foreign countries. The techniques used include all manner of fabric manipulation—printing, painting, embellishing, and dyeing—a wide variety of innovative construction and quilting methods. Long considered the most prestigious forum by the art quilt world, Quilt National attracts visitors from across the United States and around the world.

Thank you to the Quilters’ Guild of North Dakota and Minnesota Quilters for their support. This activity is funded in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council through a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation.
