"Livets Dans (Dance of Life) Solo Art Exhibition

“Livets Dans (Dance of Life),” a solo exhibition by Concordia art faculty member Heidi Goldberg, opens Tuesday, Oct. 4, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 30, in the Cyrus M. Running Gallery at Concordia College. A reception will be from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct.4, in the gallery with a talk by Goldberg at 5 p.m. The exhibition, reception and Gallery Talk are free and open to the public.
Goldberg explores landscape in her depictions of a spiritually significant environment through printmaking and mixed media. The work blends media and imagery that references the flora and fauna of this place as well as glimpses of people who have walked this land. A compelling expression of the artist’s love and respect for the natural world, this exhibition will stir the senses and the soul, and provide a unique way to experience the beauty of our environment. Goldberg has exhibited works in national and international juried exhibitions, and her works are included in private and public collections throughout the region.
Goldberg, associate professor of art, has taught since at Concordia since 1995. She graduated with a B.A. from Hamline University in 1990 and earned her M.F.A in printmaking and works on paper from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1993.
