The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra opens its 80th concert season with music by Aaron Copland, Benjamin Britten, and Ludwig van Beethoven on October 15 and 16 at NDSU Festival Concert Hall. Titled "Bernie's Fond Farewell," the entire 2011-12 season will honor Music Director Bernard Rubenstein's final year as conductor of the orchestra with a celebratory feast of musical masterpieces.
