    We will spend two nights exploring the wines of Germany and Austria. We will discuss the various aspects of viticulture, wine making and bottle labeling. The grapes grown include the “nobelist” of the grape varieties, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Gruner Veltliner and Silvaner, to the mundane Muller Thurgau. The wines we will sample will be both red and white, from the “every day” to the most exquisite, and ranging in taste from dry to sweet. The wine tasting will be accompanied with a sample of the culinary delights of the region.
