    In light of recent proclamations by a religious group in the United States that the world was ending, we will explore these visions, from far in the past to present day. We'll find out what types of religion bring these thoughts to the fore. Conceptions of the end are also found outside of explicit religion and in the area that some call "crypto" religions. Apocalyptic themes appear prominently in this kind of vision but not all end-time thinking includes those themes. Join us in this lively exploration of those who have said, "The World is coming to an End!"
