Residents of the Red River Basin are connected to the Red River on a daily basis. However, for such an important natural resource, often there is limited understanding about the variety of issues surrounding it. This course will bring to light the many intricacies and issues concerning the Red River that every citizen should understand. The course will cover geology, history, water quality, management, flooding, recreation and emerging issues.
