"The Flood of 2009" Exhibit Opening

The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County (HCSCC) announces a new exhibit, The Flood of 2009. Fargo photographer Vern Whitten has documented Red River floods from the air since 1997. This exhibit includes photos from the 2009 flood, the highest crest in recorded history. The free exhibit opening is scheduled for Saturday, January 7 from 3 - 5 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center museum and will include a presentation by Markus Krueger, HCSCC Volunteer Services Coordinator, about the 2009 flooding at the Hjemkomst Center.
