Design educator Mary deLaittre, creator of SiteSeeing: Making Neighborhoods Visible, a curriculum that develops students' skills in seeing, analyzing, and understanding their built environment, offers this workshop for instructors who want to engage students in the study of their neighborhoods. The intent of the program is to empower youth to claim ownership of their community and to participate in decisions that affect their communities.
