Fall, winter, summer, or sandbagging - which is your favorite season? Antonio Vivaldi captures the essence of each season in his beloved violin four-concerto set, The Four Seasons. From the brittle crackling of ice evoked by plucked strings to a rousing summer thunderstorm, the "Seasons" have become some of the most familiar and best-loved works in the orchestral repertoire.
The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra will feature violinist Benjamin Sung as the soloist in The Four Seasons by Vivaldi in two concert performances. A free pre-concert talk with Ben and FMSO Music Director Bernard Rubenstein will be offered in the adjacent Beckwith Recital Hall 45 minutes before the start of each concert.
