      I heard them a couple of years ago when they played at the Avalon -- I was out of town last year when they were at MSUM. They are double reed specialists and as such they focus on music from a few... Expand

      I heard them a couple of years ago when they played at the Avalon -- I was out of town last year when they were at MSUM. They are double reed specialists and as such they focus on music from a few hundred years ago when oboes and bassoons and other reed instruments were more trendy. That music is vigorous, rhythmic, great melodies -- and this group plays it really well. A chance to hear one of the best in the world. Collapse
