Norik Astvatsaturov fled with his family to the United States as refugees from Baku, Azerbaijan, in 1992 after the dissolution of the USSR and rising ethnic and religious violence with the predominant Azeris. Astvatsaturov works with a range of different metals including gold, silver, bronze and copper.
