Burritt is an active composer and has three solo recordings of his original compositions as well as works written for him. He has been a featured artist at seven Percussive Arts Society International Conventions and has performed at Carnegie Hall and performed his London debut at Queen Elizabeth Hall. His works for solo marimba have become standard repertoire for the instrument and are frequently required repertoire at international competitions.
