"Encounters" features portraits of people encountered through the college’s study abroad programs by Concordia College photographer Sheldon Green. The locations range from crowded streets in India to small villages in Tanzania's safari country, to farmers’ markets in China and ornate mosques in Egypt. The photos present how the people of these countries live and work, and how Concordia faculty and students might be able to interact with them. The work covers a thirteen-year period, from 1994 to 2007. Public Reception and Gallery Talk: Tuesday 17 November 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Green will speak in the gallery at 5 p.m.
