Moorhead High School Theatre

The students involved in theatre at Moorhead High are less concerned with the applause of a curtain call than the process of getting there. Learning is a journey that the majority of those involved in theatre began long before they auditioned for the musical. It is fostered through strong arts mentors in the elementary and middle school years and continues at the high school level where you find a passionate community of artists dedicated to improving their craft. It is true ensemble theater. Every cast member is directly involved with all creative processes, including developing an artistic statement, blocking, characterization, costuming, publicity, lights, set design and construction. The immense pride the company feels in their creative contributions is readily seen in the eyes of MHS theater students. They love the program because they sustain it.
