    The mission statement for Minnesota Public Radio is to create engaging public service content and to make that content directly accessible to audiences on multiple media platforms. In a world of changing technology, we will be present for our loyal audience when and where they seek to consume content.

    KCCM 91.1 FM and its companion station KCCD 90.3 FM are two of the twenty-nine full-power and ten stranslator radio stations operated by Minnesota Public Radio. KCCM's format is 24-hour classical music and KCCD's is 24-hour news and information. Programming heard on KCCM and KCCD is produced by MPR and by other program distributors such as National Public Radio, Public Radio International (PRI) and the BBC. Minnesota Public Radio produces more national programs than any other public radio network in the country, including Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion, Pipe Dreams, The Splendid Table, and Marketplace.
    Minnesota Public Radio® is one of the nation's premier public radio organizations. With headquarters in the heart of downtown St. Paul, Minnesota Public Radio operates a regional network of 37 stations, covering Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin, the Dakotas, Michigan, Iowa and Idaho.
