    Music Department
The Music Department at Concordia College provides a rigorous, comprehensive and innovative academic program. More than one-fifth of the student body participates in one of the 15 major music organizations. Most groups tour annually during February, and some, including the famed Concordia Choir, tour internationally during May. The department excels in teaching, artistic performance, service, and professional and scholarly excellence. The Music Department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).

    Visual Arts
The Art Department is housed in the Olin Art and Communications Center. It contains classrooms, studio space and well-equipped laboratories. A skywalk connects it with the Cyrus M. Running Art Gallery, where several shows by visiting artists, students and faculty are mounted each year. The department offers majors in teaching, studio and art history, with an emphasis on the role of visual arts in culture. Concentrations in studio areas include painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography and a growing interest in computer generated design.

    Concordia College Cultural Events Series
Each year, Concordia College brings a variety of artists to campus to share their unique talents and cultures. From dance troupes and symphonies to chamber musicians, lecturers and visual artists, the Cultural Events Series enriches the community through exciting cultural and artistic programming each year.
