About the artist:

My passion for creating new and interesting works of art has lead me on a path of discovery through several different mediums in the past 20+ years. Currently, I am most often driven to use a plasma cutter and welder to create 3-dimensional steel sculptures and stainless steel jewelry. I prefer to use the inherent colors of the metal and add additional color by heating it with a torch or by rusting it to produce a rich natural patina. I am always creating something whether it be a wall sculpture, jewelry, or yard art. I would love to make a piece perfect for you or your home.

A native of Bismarck, ND Karman Rheault received her art education from Moorhead State and Southern Illinois University. Her home and studio are in rural Moorhead, MN. As a noted painter and metal sculptor in the region, Karman's distinctive style of paintings and metal wall sculptures have been a popular attraction at Gallery 4. Ltd in Fargo's historic Black Building on Broadway. Gallery 4, a co-op of some of the regions top area artists, has been a mainstay of the Fargo-Moorhead art scene since it was founded more than 35 years ago. Rheault who is currently Gallery 4’s President, has served on the Board of Directors for Lake Agassiz Art Council, was Director of the Moorhead River Arts Artists Market, managed The Log Cabin Gallery in Moorhead, and has been a leader in the regional art scene for more than a decade.
