About the artist:

A native to Helena, MT, my family moved to Colstrip, MT and later to Grand Forks, ND. As a student of Red River High in Grand Forks, I was able to receive a better understanding of the art world which encouraged my continued interest. Following high school, I attended a semester at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, and then transferred to North Dakota State University in Fargo. After stepping foot into the Visual Arts Department at North Dakota State University, I knew I was where I needed to be. The facility accommodated students in all media and the faculty was inspiring and well educated. There was a feeling of unity and determination in this department and I wanted to be a part of it. There I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with minors in both Psychology and Web design. Now, a graphic designer, working for NetWork Center, Inc., I am able to hone my skills as a graphic artist, while also having time to continue creating my paintings.
