About the artist:

Andrew P. Clemenson (Andy C) believes that the way he can have the greatest possible positive effect on the world is through music. He is a freelance percussionist originally from Bemidji, MN, where he got his start playing at Calvary Lutheran Church and with school bands. This eventually led to the beginning of his professional career when, at the age of sixteen, he landed the percussionist role at the Paul Bunyan Playhouse. Andrew graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with BM degree in Instrumental Performance (Percussion). He currently lives in Fargo, ND and is an active freelance musician and private lesson teacher there. A short list of artists Andrew has performed with includes: Chris Brubeck and Triple Play, Hall’s Guide Service, Temple Band, Eldon Johnson, the IAN trio, Pelican Railroad, the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra, The Voice of Sleep, Breezy Garrison, The Concordia Band, The Concordia Percussion Ensemble, and Concordia College Jazz Ensemble 1. Andrew’s audio engineering credits include live sound work for the Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Hall’s Guide Service, Concordia College Campus Ministry Commission, as well as tracking, mixing, editing, and mastering recordings on Concordia’s Beat 2009 and Concordia’s Beat 2010. While not involved in musical ventures, Andrew enjoys running, bicycling, motorcycling, mathematics, a good movie, and a good laugh.
