About the artist:
Jane's love of North Dakota and the wildlife she sees is a theme repeated in many of her paintings. She likes to take odd objects~a wedge of bark, the skull of a buffalo, old glass windows- and use them as a canvas for the images conceived by her mind and heart. DakotaBlessings Art Studio was built in 2009, and a partnership was formed to craft bookmarks and jewelry from re-purposed piano keys. In this way, she shares her love for books, music and art. Jane's art reflects her soul, whether through the simple pose of a beloved dog or through the movement of music and scripture she has combined in a mixed media work.
