About the artist:

My artistic endeavors focus exclusively on Bonsai and the art of shaping and styling of living trees in little pots. I have been practicing Bonsai Art since 1985, becoming adept with both horticultural and artistic techniques. Bench full of Bonsai art ready for your patio or landscape. I've always been fascinated by trees, the breath of our planet. From childhood adventures up in their arms, to the designing and building of my home, trees have played a major role in my life. Over the years, I've come to understand a major focus of my art is that it helps people connect with Nature, especially those who are in transition. As a natural art form Bonsai allows viewers to pause and reflect on their place in Nature. My approach to Bonsai is eclectic since each tree is an individual with unique characteristics and historical roots filled with myth and mystery. While doing my art, I do not create the Bonsai, I free the essence of the tree so viewers can see their own image of Nature. My art comes out of collaboration with Nature and each individual tree.
