About the artist:

Ana N. Rusness-Petersen has worked as director, stage manager, sound designer and all-around production resource for regional theatres including the Goodman Theatre, Timeline Theatre, Pegasus Players (all of Chicago), Playhouse 412, WeFest (Detroit Lakes, MN), the FMCT, Theatre B, Trollwood, NDSU's Little Country Theatre, Ursa Major Productions, Frost Fire Theatre and the Tin Roof Theatre Company, which she co-founded and served as Vice-President.

Ana holds a B.A. (Concordia College - Moorhead, MN) and M.A. (Lesley University - Cambridge, MA) in Theatre Arts. She is an on-call Assistant Director for Steppenwolf Theatre of Chicago, and currently works in NDSU's Division of Fine Arts as the Administrative Assistant, Box Office Manager and Artist Liason. Ana is also a semi-professional photographer who works to capture intriguing cityscapes, landscapes, architectural detail work and the occasional still life. She has a number of on-going photographic series and projects including a coffeetable book about Fargo, and the talented people who have emerged from it. She is currently the Vice-President of the Fargo-Moorhead Visual Artists board, and is active in a number of regional exhibits.
